School Board Meetings

Attending school board meetings together is a way for us to share our experiences as educators with district leaders. Members can sign up to speak during the public comments section of the agenda early in the meeting.

School Board meetings are (usually) held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the David Douglas High School South Boardroom. Please see the DDSD Website for more details.

Red for Ed

On Wednesdays (in school-age settings) and Fridays (in MECP) we wear red! Wearing #RedForEd is a way to show our collective solidarity and our commitment to improving our contract and workplaces.

We invite our classified coworkers and our community to join DDEA in wearing Red for Ed.

When other unions go on strike or take big collective actions, DDEA shows up to support them!

DDEA joined Oregon Nurses Association members on their strike picket line in June 2024.
